Survey & Investigation

Surveys & Investigations are the initial stage of any refurbishment project, in order to accurately identify the causes of structural defects as well as determining an effective strategy to repair and maintain the structure. There are clear economic advantages to quantifying defects in Concrete; knowing where problems have occurred, understanding the causes and establishing the necessary remedial action will save both time and money in the long-term.

APA Concrete Repairs Ltd have vast experience in Surveying & Investigating Reinforced Concrete Structures. We provide the information in the format required, so that informed decisions can be made as to how best to remediate the structure to the client's exact requirements. Our own Survey & Investigation Teams work within some of the most demanding situations, and hold certification for Confined Space Working, ICorr - CP Technician, IPAF: Powered Access and IRATA: Rope Access.

We produce detailed testing reports for our clients, illustrating our findings and recommendations for future remedial action. For example the refurbishment at Wapping High Street, London, underwent an initial process of extensive Surveys & Testing, of which generated a detailed report complete with illustrative photographs, which was subsequently used to compile a repair strategy that would protect the supporting structure from future degradation: Download - Wapping High St. Testing Report

We offer and undertake an extensive range of Survey & Investigative works, suited to structures and project scopes of all varying backgrounds, of which are detailed within each of the following categories:
